Infosys Interview Process Pattern Questions

Below are some points which will help you understand the selection procedure and crack the campus drive of Infosys.

Infosys Eligibility criteria

Every company including Infosys too has an eligibility criteria. The candidate should have first class in SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) exams and should have an aggregate of 68% in B- Tech. He/She must not have any active backlog.

Infosys Selection procedure

Infosys has two rounds in the whole selection procedure. The first round is a written test and the second round is an interview.

Written Test

The written test is divided into three sections with limited time given to solve each section. Sections are:- Aptitude, Logical and Verbal. There is no negative marking in any section.
The  interview round involves HR interview as well as technical interview. This is a face to face interview with the HR of the company. Previously there was no technical interview. But, now we have to face both the non-technical interview as well as technical interview. For me, HR took both the interviews.

Syllabus for written exam:-

The test duration is about 95 minutes and 75 questions.

There are three sections in written exam. They are:

1. Arithmetic Reasoning and Analytical Thinking(15 Questions-25 Minutes)

2. Mathematical Critical Thinking and Logical Reasoning(10 Questions-35 Minutes)

3.Verbal Ability Test(40 Questions-35 Minutes)

1) Arithmetic Reasoning and Analytical Thinking:

Data Interpretation
Logical Deduction
Data sufficiency
Direction Sense
Seating Arrangements

2) Mathematical Critical Thinking and Logical Reasoning(10 Questions 35 Minutes):

Ratio and Proportion
Allegation ad Mixture
Time, Distance and Speed
Permutation and Combination
Coding and decoding
Time and work
Profit and Loss
Pipes and Cistern
Cube Problems
Mensuration and Geometry

3)  Verbal Ability Test(40 Questions 35 Minutes):

Sentence Improvement
Fill in the Blanks(one word substitute, Idioms)
Error Finding
Reading comprehension
Theme Detection
Preparation Strategy For written test :-

For qualifying the exam, main focus should be English. The cut off mark for English( verbal ability) is always very high and the number of questions is more with less time limit.
The best way to achieve the cutoff marks of verbal ability is to focus on passages. If you could solve all the passages then half of work is done. Then the focus should be Grammar i.e sentence correction.  If a student is able to correct  both sections then it will be very easy to pass the cut off marks of verbal ability section.

Interview round

An interview contain two section:-
Technical and HR

Technical round is easy even if you are non-IT student. Though they will ask simple technical questions. You need to have sound knowledge in C, Java and Database.

Basic Technical questions from C, Java, SQL etc.

To find the output of the given program

To write syntax and programs .

Sometime they can ask to write some basic programs e.g. how to find palindrome, fibbonaci series, find even and odd number etc.

Regarding academics.

What is role in project?

In the HR round Some of the commonly asked question:

Tell about yourself?
Why you want to join Infosys?
Tell about your project?
Which is your favorite subject?
Do you have any Questions?
And other questions like your family background, academics etc.

I hope this will help you in cracking the Infosys campus drive.
All the very best for your future……….. 🙂
