Brief overview about IBPS
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous agency in India, which started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). In 1984, IBPS became an independent entity at the behest of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Public Sector Banks. IBPS is envisioned as self-governed academic and research oriented Institute, with a mission of enhancing human-resource development through personnel assessment. In 2011, IBPS announced a Common Written Examination (CWE) for the selection Officers and Clerks in Indian banks. IBPS CWE is now mandatory for anyone who seeks an employment in 20 public sector and Regional Rural banks. IBPS periodically accepts the exam applications from the candidates at their website, and the exams are organized at various locations in the country in online mode. Aspirants have to go through interview process after clear the online test conduct by the IBPS. On the basis of interview candidates placed in Regional Rural Bank.
IBPS Clerk CWE 5 2015-2016Exam Pattern
With the announcement of IBPS Clerk CWE 5 online exam dates, candidates are very curious about the new IBPS Clerk CWE 5 exam pattern.IBPS has come up with the new three tier exam system for IBPS Clerk CWE 5 and IBPS PO CWE 5.CWE means common written exam.The whole IBPS Clerk CWE 5 has total 3 stages of exam.

2. Main IBPS Clerk Exam
3. Interview Round
Preliminary IBPS Clerk 2015-2016 exam pattern
This exam is the first stage of IBPS Clerk CWE 5 2015-2016 which will be of 1 hour containing total 100 questions carrying 1 marks each means total 100 marks.The questions will also carry negative 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.The Preliminary IBPS Clerk exam is qualifying in nature.It means those candidate who will get the qualifying cut off marks will be able to face IBPS clerk main exam.
IBPS Clerk 2015-2016 Main Exam Pattern
IBPS Clerk Main Exam will be of 2 hours carrying total 200 questions of 200 marks.The questions will be negative in nature i.e 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.The question paper will have 5 sections with each having a set sectional cut off decided by IBPS.
IBPS Clerk 2015-2016 Interview Round
The last phase Of IBPS Clerk CWE 5 exam will be Interview Round.The qualified candidates will get a chance to face the IBPS Clerk Interview round.This round will decide the final score of a candidate.
